PORTFOLIO, I employ black archival ink and color paint markers over thin washes of oil paint on linen canvas or spray painted fiber board. What emerges are landscapes and figural elements whose significance escapes the elements of their creation. The flat motiffs yield volume, and the simple obsessive strokes yield complexity and movement. Stillness becomes motion.
