This work originated from vertigo. I tried to envision the threat of an impending disaster and the sensory overload often associated with sudden acts of dread that one may experience prior to a fatality. I reworked this image from multiple angles thru a process of elaboration and simplification to decipher a coherent meaning that is both repelling and welcoming.
